Alors que M. Sarkozy vient enfin, lundi 27 mars, de quitter ses fonctions de Ministre de l’Intérieur (il est remplacé par François Baroin), mettant fin à plusieurs semaines d’une inacceptable confusion des genres entre ministre et candidat, son dernier fait d’arme en tant que membre du gouvernement porte une atteinte grave aux valeurs de l’école républicaine.
Mardi 20 mars, des incidents sont survenus devant une école maternelle de la rue Rampal, dans le XIXe arrondissement de Paris. Des forces de police sont venus interpeller un grand-père d’origine chinoise qui venait cherchait son petit-fils scolarisé dans cette école. Des parents et des enseignants se sont interposés pour protéger le sans papiers. Les policiers ont alors utilisé la violence physique et fait usage de bombes lacrymogènes pour disperser les parents qui s'opposaient à cette interpellation.
A la suite de ces incidents, la directrice de l’école maternelle a été placée en garde à vue vendredi 23 mars, avant d’être relâchée 7 heures plus tard.
Je suis scandalisé par cette escalade dans la répression qui touche l’un des derniers refuges de la République, l’école. Est-ce cela la France que nous voulons ? Celle qui place en garde à vue ses enseignants ? Celle qui vient chercher à la sortie des écoles des enfants et leurs parents pour les expulser, devant leurs petits camarades ?
